We praise and thank You that You alone are God – there is no other! You are the Creator. You are the Wonderful Counselor, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father. You are the Prince of Peace. You are the Lion of Judah. Jesus, You are the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. You are the Lord Who Sees. You are the Lord Who Provides.
Teach us to see how high, exalted, and lifted up You are. Teach us to see that we do not have Your wisdom and how lowly we are in comparison to You. We have no goodness in ourselves. We are totally dependent on You to have anything good in us. We have worth because You made us in Your image and because You love us.
Help us to see ourselves and You rightly. Help us to learn to lean on Your wisdom and not trust our own human understanding. Open our eyes to our pride and sin. Bring us to godly sorrow and genuine conviction. Let us hate sin the way You hate sin. Let us love You wholeheartedly by the power of Your Spirit. Let us love others with Your love pouring through us. Let us love You far more than anything or anyone in this world. Let us be willing to lay down our lives and all that we are and all that we have for You. You alone are worthy of this kind of devotion.
Teach us Your ways. Bring us deeper into faith. Mature, refine, prune, and grow us to become mature and complete, lacking nothing in Your service. Use us for Your glory! Your will be done in our lives and on this earth and Your kingdom come!
In the Name and power of Christ,
You are welcome to pray with me, brothers and sisters. 🙂

Whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted. Matthew 23:12
For this is what the high and exalted One says– he who lives forever, whose name is holy: “I live in a high and holy place, but also with the one who is contrite and lowly in spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite. Isaiah 57:15
“God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight. – Proverbs 3:5-6
Yes, my soul, find rest in God;
my hope comes from him.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.
My salvation and my honor depend on God;
he is my mighty rock, my refuge.
Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge. – Psalm 62:5-8
